Aquatic Therapy

What is Aquatic Physical Therapy?

Aquatic physical therapy is rehabilitation that is done in a heated pool. It allows the patient to initiate early joint movement and strengthening with decreased stress on the joints. Exercise instruction is given by a licensed physical therapist, trained in aquatic physical therapy.
