WHAT IS AQUATIC PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Aquatic physical therapy is rehabilitation that is done in a heated pool .
It allows the patient to intiate early joint movement and strengthening with decreased stress on the joints. Exercise instruction is given by a licensed physical therapist, trained in aquatic physical therapy.
